The reservationist and concierge staff were AAA+++
The room is too small for two people. Room couldn't easily accomodate laying out our 2 suitcases - there was one stand and we used a chair for the other piece. Would expect more space for the room rate.
Clean, wel presented rooms. Ideally locaed for visiting Salem & the North Shore. Hotel gave US Government / Military discount on production of my British Army ID card
I stayed here for my niece's wedding which was held at Misslewood. It was perfect. The only problem I had was traveling some of the back roads into Inn. More directional signage would help.
Would nice to have use of a pool
Friendly staff convenient like home away from home as they remember me
I am glad that the computer was available, but its use could have been a little more comfortable,
Small Room and costly bar and food
We were there for a wedding which was wonderful. everything was great except the person at check-n who was grumpy and difficult. The rooms were great and everything about the wedding was lovely. It was pretty perfect.
check in experience...
The location is beautiful and everything was perfect
Clean, updated and good hvac. Plenty of hot water and no water restrictors
While I like a firm bed, my wife will not stay here because of this.
Good location, great for Salem sightseeing - rooms can be a little dark but we got a room change for a higher floor
Room was clean.
From the website we got the impression that this would be an interesting hotel in a nice environment. The hotel makes part of a conference centre but does not have real hotel facilities. Breakfast was for instance very basic, a cup of coffee and a muffin on a plate on your lap. In fact, you get a very basic room and that is it. The prices however, are far too high. We paid about $ 190 (including taxes) for one night. There are better and cheaper hotels in the area.
Clean comfortable room.
That I had to pay for continental breakfast yet my room rate was no less than previous years when breakfast was included.
I was led to believe you were Ocean Side. How about near ocean. I couldn't even see the sunrise. That was my only disappointment.
I didn't like a thing. The room smelled. The facilities were basic for the price and no breakfast was included. I was charged for the room although it was paid for by a friend. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.
